The confidence of foreign trade enterprises is expected to increase significantly
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade recently released a survey report on foreign trade in the third quarter. According to the report, the effects of the package policies to stabilize the economy and stabilize foreign trade began to show in the third quarter. In the first half of the year, the problems of freight rates, energy, capital and exchange rate, which were strongly expressed by enterprises, were significantly eased.
"On the whole, the confidence of Chinese foreign trade enterprises is expected to strengthen significantly and continue to show strong resilience." Said Sun Xiao, spokesman for CCPIT and Secretary-General of the China Chamber of International Commerce.
According to the survey, 45.1% of foreign trade enterprises said that the third quarter of foreign trade development confidence gradually recovered; 30.31% of foreign trade enterprises expect the annual trade volume to achieve year-on-year growth, the proportion of 4.09 percentage points higher than the second quarter; Large and medium-sized enterprises are more optimistic about the annual foreign trade situation, while small and micro enterprises' expectations are weaker, but improved compared with the second quarter.
To be specific, the development of foreign trade presents the following characteristics: First, the export volume and profits of foreign trade enterprises are both improving. 22.69 percent of enterprises saw their trade volume increase on a month-on-month basis, and 19.52 percent saw their profits increase on a month-on-month basis. Second, the export profits of high value-added industries increased greatly. Railway, shipping, aviation and aerospace transportation equipment, paper and paper products, special equipment manufacturing, automobile and other industries had strong growth momentum in foreign trade, with 40%, 39.29%, 35% and 28.28% of enterprises achieving month-on-month growth in export profits, respectively. Third, with the deepening of enterprises' understanding and application of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), ASEAN has become the largest source market of China's foreign trade orders. In the third quarter, the top three major source markets for foreign trade enterprises' new orders are ASEAN, the EU and the United States, accounting for 30.6%, 30.55% and 25.29% respectively. Fourth, foreign trade enterprises have high hopes for the new trade forms and models. 46.7% of enterprises believe that comprehensive foreign trade services play the greatest role in promoting export, and 22.52% believe that cross-border e-commerce plays a greater role.
The survey also reflects the main difficulties and demands of foreign trade enterprises. "At present, foreign trade enterprises are facing multiple troubles, such as shrinking external demand, insufficient orders in hand, high comprehensive costs, repeated troubles of the epidemic and increasing economic and trade frictions." "Sun Xiao said. According to the survey, 60.02% of enterprises said the decline in orders was the biggest difficulty, 51.83% felt the diversion of orders, 56.22% felt the rising cost of raw materials, and 47.68% said the epidemic affected production.
The policy demands of foreign trade enterprises are mainly reflected in three aspects: first, continue to increase the implementation of tax cuts and fees, and continue relevant tax relief and preferential measures to help enterprises reduce costs, increase confidence and solve problems. Second, we will accelerate the resumption of offline exhibitions in China, actively organize foreign trade enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions, and improve the convenience of cross-border mobility of people. Third, we will increase training and consultation on the use of preferential policies by foreign trade enterprises to help them effectively cope with international economic and trade frictions and comprehensively improve their ability to use preferential policies and combat external risks.
It is understood that China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, as the administrative department of participating in and holding economic and trade exhibitions abroad, has launched targeted measures to resume overseas economic and trade exhibitions in a timely manner. Innovative forms such as "participating in overseas online exhibitions", "participating on behalf of exhibitors" and "remote offline exhibition hosting" are regarded as offline overseas participation in exhibitions, and project approval documents are issued. And will push forward the pilot approval of exhibition organizations to key countries, key exhibition group projects related work. (Reporter Li Jie)
