Development status of advanced ceramics in China
The research and development of Chinese advanced ceramics has made a series of innovative achievements. Among them, the fiber reinforced ceramic matrix composite is applied to the protection frame of strategic missile and satellite antenna window innovatively. The study of polynitrogen ceramic phase diagram has a high influence in the world. The concept of multiphase composite ceramics has contributed to the birth of a large number of new materials with excellent comprehensive properties. The research on the preparation and agglomeration of nano-ceramic powders, as well as the theory of solid-phase sintering of nano-ceramics have made world-class innovation achievements.
In the 21st century, the research of functional ceramics has been attached great importance by the state and various research institutes. Our advanced ceramic industry has entered a period of rapid development. The fields of precision small size products, the shaping of large size ceramic devices, sintering technology, low cost large-scale preparation technology, ceramic processing systems continue to break foreign monopoly and technical blockade. At present, the theoretical research and experimental level of some advanced ceramics have reached the international advanced level. Its research field is wide, almost involved in all advanced ceramic materials research, development and production; Many advanced ceramic products can be produced in large quantities, the quality of the products is stable, and can occupy certain international markets.
At present, the domestic advanced ceramic industry is mainly concentrated in Shandong, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hebei, Fujian and other provinces. In 2015, the output value of these provinces accounted for about 70% of the national output value. Among them, the larger advanced ceramic industry bases in East China are Zibo of Shandong Province and Yixing of Jiangsu Province, the larger advanced ceramic industry base in central China is Pingxiang of Jiangxi Province, and the larger advanced ceramic industry base in South China is Foshan of Guangdong Province.
